Master’s messages-3.6-Faith and Conviction

faith 01

Have the faith undiminished

One must be firm and fixed in their faith. Once convinced we should not waver. When sun is directly over our head there will be no shadow similarly when faith is steady in our head it should not cast shadow of doubt. Lord comes in human form age after age to warn and guide us. When faith is undiminished one can move safely in the world. No harm can come to us. One must be vigilant on the goal with inner concentration.

Master’s messages-Vol 1- 3.5- Keep the faith in the Lord

Keep the faith in the Lord undiminished

faith in god

One must keep their faith in the Lord undiminished. Biggest obstacle is ego and possessiveness. These are with us since many ages. It can removed only by discrimination and renunciation. Bhakti, japam, dhyanam and yoga will help to remove this quickly. We must proceed slowly and steadily, making sure of each step as we proceed; so that we do not fall backwards.

Master’s messages- Vol 1- 3.4 – Let the will of Lord prevail

Do your duty with an attitude of surrender

surrender

True surrender is to tell “Let the Will of Lord prevail”. One’s duty is to connect oneself with the current of His grace. A prisoner in jail doesn’t own even his clothes; similarly in this world we don’t own anything, everything is given by Him. One has to give up the doership. Do one’s duty sincerely but with an attitude of surrender.

Master’s messages- Vol 1-3.3- Dharma will protect the righteous

“If we protect Dharma, Dharma will protect us”

First step in spiritual discipline is adherence to dharma (righteousness). “Dharmo Rakshathi Rakshithaha”. “If we protect Dharma, Dharma will protect us”
Protection of Dharma does not mean mere adoration of Dharma. It is the effort of putting the principles of Dharma into practice. Dharma grants happiness and peace. Adharma makes life miserable with agony and sorrow. Dharma observed in worldly life; will lead to observance of dharma in spiritual life also.

Master’s messages- Vol 1- 3.2 Connect yourself to the source

In this impermanent world only the immanent power of the Lord is permanent

shadow muddy water

In this impermanent world only the immanent power of the Lord is permanent and fixed, so one has to perforce to attach oneself to that source and sustenance. There is no escape for anyone from this. When shadow falls either on mud or dirt, on wet or dry patch of land, it does not get affected. Shadow and its experiences are not eternal or true. Similarly we must be convinced that we are but the shadow of the Absolute and that is the remedy for sorrow and pain.

Master’s messages-Vol1- 3.1 God is all powerful

God incarnates as human to set example to mankind.

God is Maha Shakti ( Supreme Energy) and Jeeva (individual being) is Maya Shakti (deluding power). God cannot come down without His Mahashakti unimpaired; He has to come with diminished splendour and effulgence so that he can become the object of Bhakti and Dedicated service. He undergoes all trials and tribulations as humans do but leads by setting an example for mankind to follow the righteous path.

Master’s messages-Vol 1-2.7-Detachment

Renunciation is the highest type of detachment.

The highest type of detachment is renunciation. Devotion and surrender will give great courage to face difficulties; such courage is renunciation. The story of Mohajith is an example of this type of renunciation. Such courage can come only by the grace of the Lord and cleansing of mind and cultivation of virtue.
