Gratitude to the Master on His 90th birthday

Balvikas children offer their gratitude to Swami on His 90th birthday. It brought tears to my eyes reading their innocent and loving letters to be offered at the Sai Sannidhi for the 90th birthday of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at Prasanthi Nilayam. Sharing the glimpses of these letters.

Three types of people

Value- Right conduct, Truth

Sub value- Trust, Loyalty

A teacher shows three toys to a student and asks the student to find out the differences. All the three toys  seem to be identical in their shape, size and material. After keen observation, the student observes holes in the toys. 1st toy it has holes in the ears. 2nd toy has holes in ear and mouth. 3rd toy has only one hole in one ear.

The student  picks a thin long straw and puts the straw in the ear hole of 1st toy ; to his surprise the straw comes out from the other ear. Next , when the straw was inserted  in the ear, it comes out of  the mouth. And lastly,  in the 3rd toy, when the straw was put in, it did not come out.

The student comes to the following conclusion :The first toy represents those people around you who give an impression that they are listening to you, care about you and your things. But they just pretend to do so. After listening,  just as the straw comes out from the other ear, the things you tell them, by counting on them, are forgotten. So be careful while you  speaking to this type of people around you.

The second toy represents those people who listen to you  and give an impression that they care for you. But as in the toy, the straw comes out from mouth. These people blurt out things you have told them in confidence.

In the third toy, the straw  does not come out from it. It represents the kind of people who are  trustworthy. They are the ones who you can count on.

Always stay in a company of a people who are loyal and trustworthy. People, who listen to what you tell them, are not always the ones you can count on when you need them the most.
