Once a king came to the garden and saw some trees, bushes, and flowers dying.  The King asked the oak  tree why it was dying; the oak replied that it was dying  because it couldn’t be as high as the pine. Next the King asked the  pine tree which was falling down the same question; the pine replied that it was falling because it couldn’t  give grapes like  the grapevine.  Then the King asked the grapevine why it was dying; it replied it was  because it couldn’t blossom like a rose.

Finally the king  found a plant, which had a pleasing heart and  looked fresh. After questioning about why the plant was blooming while others were dying, the King received the following answer:

I think it’s a natural event, because when you planted me, you wanted to get  joy. If you would like to grow an oak,  a pine ,  grapes or rose, you would have  planted   them. So I think that I can’t be anything else than what I am. And I try to develop my best qualities.

We have to learn to look at ourselves. We can only be our self. It is impossible for us to become someone else. We can blossom and grow if we accept our self or we can fade if we are not happy with ourselves. Every one has a potential. a talent, an ability and a purpose for which we are here. If we accept that and make the best use of our abilities we will blossom, be happy and give joy to others as well.
